David Arnow is a founding principal of Castle Hill Partners. Mr. Arnow is responsible for all investment management, disposition, and treasury functions for the firm. Prior to Castle Hill Partners, Mr. Arnow was a principal with Simmons Vedder Partners where he held a senior post for sixteen years. At Simmons Vedder, his functions included complete project oversight, management, and financing. Mr. Arnow acted as a managing principal where he executed commercial projects including office, industrial, senior and student housing as well as land development. Prior to his principal role at Simmons Vedder Partners, Mr. Arnow was with Trammell Crow Company. In 1992, he was promoted to be the youngest Managing Director in the history of the firm. Mr. Arnow has over twenty-five years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Arnow was educated at the University of Texas at Austin where he earned an MBA as a Sord Scholar. He received his BA in Economics, Magna Cum Laude at Duke University. He also attended the University of Copenhagen where he was a student in The International Business Studies Program.

Victor Ayad is a founding principal of Castle Hill Partners. Mr. Ayad is responsible for the structure and procurement of investment capital, workouts and general oversight. Prior to CHP, Mr. Ayad was a co-founder and managing partner of Asset Recovery Fund, Inc and its successor company, Eastbridge Partners, LP. The company was founded in 1991 and was a primary investor in distressed commercial real estate debt. Mr. Ayad led the firm’s institutional financing efforts as well as negotiated workouts and financial re-structure. Prior to Eastbridge Partners, he was an independent workout specialist representing the interests of regional lenders and developers as well as the advocacy of Money Center Banks in New York City. He has worked in the distressed debt industry and structured finance for over thirty years. Prior to his career as a workout specialist, Mr. Ayad was a Member of the New York Futures Exchange where he traded equity derivatives. Mr. Ayad was educated at the University of Texas at Austin, School of Finance.

Yoav Azachi is responsible for the financial management of all Castle Hill Partners activities. His primary functions include financial reporting, cash flow management and tax compliance. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Azachi was Director of Finance at a broker-dealer, Kershner Trading Group. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Texas. Mr. Azachi received his MBA from the University of Louisiana – Monroe and his BBA in Finance from the College of Management in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Alex Bastoky is a member of the investment team and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and executing Castle Hill investments. Prior to joining Castle Hill Partners, Alex served as a management consultant at Bain & Company and as a U.S. Army officer. Alex holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Leisha Ehlert is responsible for managing development and operations of active investments and feasibility and due diligence for acquisition opportunities. Mrs. Ehlert’s functions include contract negotiation, entitlement procurement, design development, equity and debt financing, and disposition. Prior to joining Castle Hill Partners, Mrs. Ehlert served as Project Manager with Simmons Vedder Partners for seven years, where she performed upper level development oversight across multiple product types including industrial, office, student housing, detached condos, and master planned development. Mrs. Ehlert received her BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating Cum Laude.

Cameron Harris is responsible for underwriting, financial analysis, and asset management across all asset classes. Prior to joining Castle Hill Partners, Cameron served as a Credit Analyst for Independent Bank where he was involved in the underwriting and due diligence for commercial acquisition and development loans. Prior to that, Cameron was a Tax Consultant for Deloitte where he performed encompassing tax and compliance services for his private equity clients. Cameron graduated from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas where he earned a BBA in Accounting and Masters in Professional Accounting. Cameron is a Certified Public Accountant.

Chase Kohlhoff is responsible for the land development and construction of Travis Club and Saddleback. Prior to joining Castle Hill Partners, Chase served as a Sr. Land Development Manager at Lennar Homes where he managed entitlements and land development of many communities in Central Texas. Chase received his Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University, majoring in Construction Management. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and all things outdoors.

John McKinnerney is a founding principal of Castle Hill Partners. His role includes investment analysis and overall business strategy. Prior to Castle Hill Partners, Mr. McKinnerney was a principal with Simmons Vedder Partners and a Regional Acquisitions Partner with JPI. He is an active Urban Land Institute member and recently served as chair of the IOPC Gold Product Council and chair of The University of Texas Center for Real Estate Finance. Mr. McKinnerney is also a past member of numerous advisory boards, including the National Multi Housing Council, Housing Works, and Real Estate Council of Austin. He was educated at The University of Texas at Austin and has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, development, and finance.

Carlee Ryan’s responsibilities include investment analysis and due diligence on acquisition opportunities as well as investment management and property development of the existing Castle Hill portfolio.  Carlee started her real estate career as an investment analyst at Castle Hill Partners in 2012 where she assisted the acquisitions team with comprehensive market research, financial modeling, and risk assessment. Carlee then moved to Australia with Urbanest, a private student accommodation owner, developer, and manager working in investment management for 6 years before returning to Castle Hill Partners in 2021. Carlee received her bachelor’s degree in finance from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

Hana Saxton joined Castle Hill Partners in mid-2022. She works closely with the CFO and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions for all of Castle Hill and its investment entities. Additional responsibilities include preparing cash projections and draft financials. Prior to joining Castle Hill Partners, Hana served as AP Accountant at Keller Williams Realty Inc. Will Shipman is responsible for due diligence on new investment opportunities as well as analytic support for existing assets. Prior to joining Castle Hill Partners, Will was a summer intern for RSF Partners, a CRE firm in Dallas that primarily focused on the senior living sector. Prior to that, Will interned with RedBud Brands, an Austin-based Venture Capital Firm, as well as Satori Capital, a private equity firm in Forth Worth. Will received his BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas.

David Smith is responsible for overall construction management and Clear Creek Tahoe. He controls all related budgets, design review, site infrastructure and schedule compliance.  Prior to joining Castle Hill Partners, he was a Principal at R & D Professional, Inc.  Mr. Smith managed over $100 million in Commercial and Residential real estate in the Western and Eastern United States. As Vice President of Development for Travis Club, Jimmy Terry oversees the development of golf and club related facilities. He has extensive experience in this area having previously been involved with the development and operations of major facilities in Texas and Florida. Prior to joining Travis Club, he was the Senior Director of Golf Properties for the PGA of America and guided the operations of Valhalla Golf Club and PGA Golf Club, as well as being responsible for the PGA’s oversight of the golf facility development at the recently opened PGA Frisco. Previous to that, he was a Senior General Manager for PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties overseeing operations of both TPC San Antonio and TPC Harding Park. A 1982 graduate of Tarleton State University, he is a highly decorated PGA Member with more than 35 years of experience as a Class A Professional.
